Why Youth Shooting Sports?
At Big Frig, we are passionate about supporting young people and promoting a love for conservation and the outdoors. Shooting sports teach young people not only how to safely and properly use firearms, but also discipline, determination, confidence, and how to work as an individual and as a member of a team. Shooting sports are unique in the fact that they are available to both male and female competitors and many disciplines require little to no modification for disabled individuals to participate alongside their peers.

About the MidwayUSA Foundation
The MidwayUSA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity working to sustain and grow shooting sports by providing long-term funding to youth shooting teams. Every donation made is tax-deductible and allows the Foundation to assist in expanding and enhancing the leadership skills, confidence, and discipline of today’s youth through shooting sports activities. We support all shooting disciplines.
We help communities and organizations raise funds to support their high school, college, and other youth shooting teams and activities. We also manage a variety of special purpose endowed funds for the support and advancement of youth shooting sports.
Resources for Teams
When businesses order from Big Frig, they can choose to have their purchase support the youth shooting team endowment account of their choice. The business must provide the team name and endowment account number to Big Frig before their order is invoiced. Big Frig will make a donation equal to 10% of the total order value (excluding shipping) to the team’s endowment account and the MidwayUSA Foundation will match that donation dollar-for-dollar.
Teams are encouraged to reach out to businesses in their community and request that they have their orders go to support the team’s account. Teams may fill in the flier linked below with their name and account number as a convenient way of sharing their information with the businesses they contact.
